The Pręcis Ct provides a 1 Pulse Per Second signal on
the DCD pin of its RS-232 serial interface port, which is synchronized to UTC at
the 10-microsecond level of accuracy, and a selection of time-of-day message
formats which are compatible with existing, freely available, software drivers for Unix, Linux, and Windows NT
platforms. Its small size and convenient packaging, coupled with its integrated
antenna make it simple to install wherever it is needed. Features include:

your building, with good sky visibility. The Pręcis Ct eliminates this problem
by synchronizing to within 10 microseconds of UTC by using signals broadcast
from the CDMA cellular telephone system. You benefit by not having to
install a rooftop antenna and still having a timing reference that is as stable
as with GPS.
