GPS Antenna
|
This high-precision GPS Antenna is shipped with each GPS-Synchronized Time &
Frequency Standard. It provides 40 dB of gain with very high out-of-band rejection performance.
Selected specifically for its excellent group delay flatness and unit-to-unit repeatability, the quality of this
antenna is critical in delivering 10 ns level time transfer from these industry-leading products.
- Weatherable polymer, all-plastic, non-corrosive, enclosure.
- Noise Figure: 2.5 dB Max.
- Group Delay Flatness: < 2 ns peak-peak 1575.42 MHz +/- 1 MHz.
- Band Rejection: 30 dB @ 1535 MHz, 60 dB @ 1615 MHz.
- Voltage Range 2.5 to 5 V.
- Will drive up to 250 feet of factory-supplied cable. For cables lengths greater than 250 feet,
a GPS preamplifier is required.

GPS Antenna
|
This GPS Antenna is shipped with every GPS Time Server.
It provides 40 dB of gain and
very high out-of-band rejection performance. It also features ESD circuit
protection, a 3-stage LNA circuit and a high rejection out-of-band filter, enabling the
GPS Antenna to provide reliable and clear signal reception while minimizing loss-of-lock, even in high
RF fields.
- Weather-proof, all-plastic, non-corrosive, low-profile enclosure.
- Very high-rejection Dual SAW filter.
- High-gain LNA, 40 dB (typical).
- 15KV ESD circuit protection.
- Voltage range 2.7 to 5.5 V.
- Will drive up to 250 feet of factory-supplied cable. For cable lengths greater than 250 feet,
a GPS preamplifier is required.

GPS Low-Noise Amplifier
|
The Glna2 is a very high-performance, low-noise, inline amplifier for difficult GPS signal environments and
long cable runs (greater than 250 feet of factory-supplied cable).
For more information on the preamplifiers click here.
The following table shows the number of preamplifers we recommend for each GPS antenna installation using
our GPS receiver and our factory-supplied cable. Installations using other cable types may have
different preamplifer requirements.

GPS Splitter
|
The smart GPS Splitter is a one-input, two-output device. In the normal configuration, one of the splitter RF
outputs (J1) passes DC from the connected GPS receiver through the splitter to the antenna, allowing the GPS
receiver to power both the antenna and the splitter amplifier. The other RF output (J2) is DC loaded with a
200-ohm resistor to simulate the antenna current draw.
- GPS L1 and L2 bands with excellent gain flatness.
- 20 dB minimum gain block.
- One RF output is DC loaded with a 200-ohm resistor to simulate antenna current draw.
- TNC connectors.
- Two 5-foot interconnect cables available.

Lightning Arrestor
|
The Lightning Arrestor helps protect your GPS installation from damage due to lightning strikes.
It is installed between the antenna and the receiver, where the cable enters the building. It is
designed to pass the DC voltage that is needed to power the antenna and/or preamps without degrading the
GPS signal.
- DC voltage up to 15Vdc.
- Spike protection to suppress spikes over +16.5V to the DC Power Supply.
- Capable of 20,000 Amp maximum surges.
- Frequency range of 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz.
