CPU/Receiver Module
This module is present in all units and provides the standard I/O features of the Meridian:
1PPS, Timecode, Ethernet, RS-232, and GPS Antenna. Optional outputs are also available from
this module. Read the CPU Module Options datasheet for more information.
Oscillator/Low Phase Noise Output Module
This optional module configures the Meridian with several different 10 MHz oscillators.
Medium and High-Stability OCXOs plus Rubidium oscillators are available.
Low-phase-noise outputs work with these high-performance oscillators to
provide individually-buffered, spectrally pure, sinewave outputs with high
channel-to-channel isolation. Four outputs are shown on this module.
Low Phase Noise Output Module
Up to 20 spectrally pure low-phase-noise outputs can be supported in a Meridian TimeBase.
The Meridian configuration shown here provides eight low-phase-noise outputs
with the module to the left providing the first four outputs. This module
provides an additional four low-phase-noise outputs.
Programmable Digital Buffer Module
This optional module adds four individually programmable TTL outputs to your Meridian TimeBase.
These buffered outputs provide on-time pulse rates from 1 PPS to 10 MPPS, or a digital timecode
output. Up to 22 of these outputs can be supported in a single Meridian chassis.
An additional upgrade configures the Meridian with a Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS)
that provides pulse rates from 1 PPS to 10 MPPS in 1 PPS steps, including 1.544 MPPS or 2.048 MPPS.
Analog Timecode Amplifier Module
This optional module adds four AM timecode outputs to your Meridian TimeBase.
Your Meridian can provide up to 21 analog timecode outputs if desired.
These buffered outputs can provide synchronization to equipment such as digital fault recorders,
synchronized generators, SCADA systems and time displays.
Available timecode formats are: IRIG-B, NASA-36 or 2137.

Power Supply Module
This is the power supply module, a custom designed, high performance AC-DC or DC-DC converter
capable of supporting a fully loaded chassis, with Rubidium oscillator, over the full 0C to 50C
temperature range in a sealed, fanless chassis.
